The importance of education is never far from the top of my agenda. The way I see it, the only way that we are going to get the youth of the world to be the driving force behind our vision here at Peace One Day is to use their teachers as our tools. The importance of these incredible people cannot be underestimated. Having launched our Education Resource in the UK and, more recently, in the US, I am always struck by the letters I receive from the teachers who have been using it. Over and over again they are telling me that it is one of the most exciting tools that they have ever used. This feedback is so heartening and proof to me that our resource (available as a free download on this site) is really working. I passionately want to ensure that teachers around the world can experience what their colleagues in the Western world have experienced.
So consider this a call to action. If any of you out there know any teachers anywhere in the world, please, please tell them about it. We really need them to log on and make a difference.
