This week we launched the brand new Peace One Day website.
It has been designed as a one-stop source for all the information you need to know about Peace One Day and what happens on 21 September, Peace Day.
For newcomers, we hope that the site will encourage you to become involved in the movement and join the millions of individuals that come together on this important day of global unity. For our existing legion of dedicated activists we have structured the site in such a way that you can become even more involved with the Peace One Day network, even as it grows at an exponential rate. Whether you’re a filmmaker, activist, athlete, artist, student, entrepreneur, writer or other, we have structured the site in a way that you can become even more engaged with our community. The whole site is now integrated with Facebook, Twitter and Meetup making it easier for you to share and contribute content that is relevant to you. Also with our new Blog we will keep you up to date with the latest Peace One Day developments and feature the wonderful initiatives carried out by our supporters all over the world.
To spread awareness of Peace Day, please share our new pages, it is through your support that we can truly make this day count by forming a united community that really can affect the course of governments and implement change.
- The Impact page documents the crucial actions of organisations that use 21 September as a day to focus their aid work and positively impact the lives of millions.
- The Community page highlights how every individual on earth can become part of the Peace Day movement. Whether it’s through music sports dance or art, the action you take to celebrate the world’s only day of ceasefire and non-violence is up to you.
We also encourage you to share all your Peace Day activities on our network in any way that suits you. Through Facebook, Twitter, MeetUp or firstname.lastname@example.org share the incredible events, people and moments from your Peace Day.
