Patrons Dinner – December 2015

On 15 December at the RAC, we held a wonderfully successful Patrons Dinner, hosted by President Emmet B. Keeffe III. The evening raised significant funds for and awareness of the Peace One Day, and included speaking contributions from key supporters including Unilever CEO Paul Polman and Innocent Drinks Co-Founder Richard Reed.

Watch the highlights film below:

Software entrepreneur and new Peace One Day Patrons President Emmet B. Keeffe III discusses his special connection to peace and why he decided to get involved with Peace One Day. He hopes to utilise his large network of business professionals to help accelerate the goals of Peace One Day. Watch the below video.

The Evening

CEO of Unilever Paul Polman, new Peace One Day Patrons President Emmet B. Keeffe III, Peace One Day Founder Jeremy Gilley and actor Sean Pertwee at the Peace One Day Patrons Christmas Dinner.

The four were joined by co-founder of Innocent Drinks, Richard Reed, performer Jon Lee with former cast members from Jersey Boys, and hundreds of special guests at the Royal Automobile Club to welcome Emmet B. Keeffe III as the new Patrons President.

The live auction of contemporary art and exclusive items, including an exclusive portrait by the globally renowned pop artist Romero Britto and a decommissioned M16 assault rifle decorated with miniaturised golden sculptures donated by modern day surrealist Nancy Foutts, surpassed expectations.

We would like to thank new Patrons President Emmet B Keeffe III for all his hard work making the Patrons Christmas Dinner a success. The funds raised by the live auction and support from sponsors Insight Venture Partners, LogicNow, Mirantis, Mimecast, Skytap, Firemon, The Digital Board, and E & J Gallo Winery enable Peace One Day to continue its work raising awareness and manifesting action on Peace Day, resulting in a decrease in violence worldwide.

March 2015 - Dinner

Last March, we launched the next exciting phase of our Patrons Programme with our Patrons Dinner held at the Groucho Club in central London. The evening was a fantastic success in firstly thanking all of our former Patrons for their unwavering support, and also to build momentum for Peace Day 2015.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and provided support on the night, with a particular mention to our former Patrons President Steve Bolton, without whom none of this success would have been achievable.

Here are a selection of photos from the event:
