I hope that some of you out there have seen and enjoyed The Day After Peace, my documentary that charts my 10-year journey to establish an annual Peace Day on 21 September. It’s something that I’m very proud of and I think it is the perfect visual summation of what we at Peace One Day are trying to achieve. What has blown me away is the response the film has had. Almost every public screening it has had has been followed by a standing ovation.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that it would go this far and be seen by so many people. So far, it has been broadcast in over 90 countries around the globe. But we don’t want to stop there. Our ‘192 and Beyond’ campaign to see screenings of the film in each of the 192 member states of the UN on Peace Day is well under way. Will you be part of the process? All you need is a copy of the film, available to buy here on our website. We know that times are hard and to reflect that, we have reduced the cost to £10. All proceeds help us to continue.
