Support Peace One Day and spread the message of Peace Day 21 September
We’re asking you to begin building your own coalition of supporters and plan how you will come together on 21 September 2013, at your university, in your hometown or wherever you may be. The United Nations are involved in this process. NGOs are involved in this process. But it is the commitment of students and young people to come together in large numbers on Peace Day 2013 that will provide the leverage needed to inspire governments to follow.
You can raise awareness ahead of Peace Day by organising activities in your university, school or communities that encourage others to be inspired and join Peace One Day’s campaign to institutionalise Peace Day. Some activities to raise awareness include film screenings , conferences and classroom activities. For more ideas visit our Community page.
