10th Anniversary Paris Concert

Peace One Day Paris Concert

Peace One Day is hosting its 10th Anniversary Peace One Day Concert on Saturday, 19 September, at Le Grand Rex, in Paris.

It will mark the first time that Peace One Day is holding the flagship event outside of the United Kingdom. And with a line-up that includes Lenny Kravitz, Charlie Winston, Keziah Jones, Olivia Ruiz, Ayo, Kasabian, and poet, Saul Williams, this year's Concert is sure to provide another evening of memorable performances to help spread the message of Peace Day to the world.

Jeremy Gilley, award-winning filmmaker and founder of Peace One Day said, "Music is one of the key tools we use to raise awareness of Peace Day. Awareness creates action, and action will save lives."

Last year's Concert was seen by an estimated 250 million people around the world and ultimately broadcasted in 93 countries. Both figures are expected to be topped by this year's event, which is being filmed by Canal+ and will be broadcast on 21 September, immediately following its airing of Gilley's documentary, The Day After Peace.

Lenny Kravitz, who also performed at last year's Concert, said, "Peace One Day is all about uniting the world, and music can help drive that message. I'm pleased to be carrying the torch for Peace One Day again this year."

French film, TV, and stage actress, Elsa Zylberstein, will serve as host of this year's event.

As of 4 September, tickets for the Paris Concert are sold out! This is the first year that the Peace Day concert has sold out more than two weeks before the event. Proceeds will assist Peace One Day's ongoing efforts to raise awareness about Peace Day.

Peace One Day Concert performer Charlie Winston recently took a break from his busy touring schedule to share some of his thoughts about both Peace Day and the upcoming Peace One Day Concert. You can read more about Charlie - including excerpts from our interview - on the Peace One Day Blog
